After allowing Chase to jump from the couch to some pillows on the floor, while Mariel wasn’t looking, he seems to have completely accepted the risk versus reward paradigm of falling. The upshot of this is that he now has the confidence of a rodeo clown and is jumping in the pool and swimming on his own.
