For our anniversary, Mariel got us a whiskey advent calendar. This might be the first time, since becoming a parent, that I genuinely enjoy running out of days before Christmas.

The first sample:
Costwolds, single malt English whiskey.

It was pretty tasty.  The flavor profile charts are interesting and are a good description of the layers of flavor over time when you have a taste.
