Since we couldn’t really take Penny anywhere I thought I would take the boys out for a short adventure. One ping pong ball sacrificed to traffic, 2 tennis balls lost in two different creeks, 8 lizards, 4 hawks, 22 bi-planes, 1 newspaper journalist taking our photo for the San Diego Tribune, 1 train spotting, 1 train track crossing, 3 bunnies, 1 marsh, 2 hot and over walked kids, lots of gps enabled google map checking, 1 call to the wife for a car ride home, and 3.2 miles and about 2.5 hours later the little adventure was over.

The boys were great – very tired and hot but I think they even bonded a bit.

Check out the ‘photo map’ link below and you can play a slideshow and see where we were.

On thursday, after Mariel did everything and then some during the day, we decided to do a mid-week evening sea world run. It could not have gone better – we popped in and caught some great action with zero crowd and popped out and caught some Bahia on the way home.

Then on Friday Matt kind of let the hectic schedule catch up to him and tried to drive out the garage while the tailgate was open after making sure that we had Dexter’s soccer ball.
