I know we went further into debt in order to get solar but it’s satisfying to harness some of that sweet hot sunshine.

I’ve wasted almost the entire summer /not/ going to the pool that’s a mile away.

We got to try and do some more of that.

First day of school today. I guess I should put up a post describing some of the stuff we’ve done this summer. Until I do that here is a picture of the kids this morning.

Dexter started High School. Chase is now a 4th grader. Tatum is rocking the very 1st grade.

This seems so much more dramatic in slow motion. The screams of pain, drawing a bead on your children so that your aim is true despite the fatigue of the holidays, teaching your young to take cover and mind your corners.
