Epic craigslist transaction today…. 4 banks involved, two states of the union, overnighted loan checks, 6 faxes, countless emails/sms, 3 kids spending 4 hours in a bank parking lot, dead battery in the mini van from entertaining the kids in a parking lot, one diversionary trip to GameStop, a new loan from a new bank, one smog test, and a trip downtown to drop off the seller at work.

We hosted Chase’s first ‘real’ birthday party at our house yesterday. It was great fun with lots of friends and families from our neighborhood and school. We had Steve from Hullabaloo come and sing songs. Chase’s favorite was “Happy Birthday to Me” of course!

The boys got their first introduction to Super Mario Bros. I forgot how perfect of a game it is. So simple and intuitive and yet there is some subtle depth to it.
