The above is a picture of Dexter running home to go to the bathroom. He was going so fast that by the time I got my phone out and unlocked and ready for pictures he’s barely noticeable in the frame.  This only happened because the walk home took an extra 30 minutes because we stopped to sign him up for some soccer.

Chase had a check up this morning at the doctors. He clams up something wild at this office. Just stares at everyone with a very serious face and does not say a thing. While we were alone and waiting he was really happy to touch up the various forms that I had filled out.

This is the latest Ikea invasion into our house. I had to build it today because the boxes were ruining everyone’s mood and our place is not big enough to keep things like this laying about. With Mariel laid up on the couch with vicious back pain I nearly lost my mind getting it all together. Almost completely borked the whole thing by lifting the wrong way and snapping off all the wooden doles (sp) . But in the end I got everything together and realized that the friendly Ikea instructions tell you it’s a two-man job because it’s 200 pounds of very delicately interdependent pieces of tiny wood.  phew.
