San Diego seems closer than ever before. Just a little update for those who haven’t heard yet….

We gave up on doing the cross-country drive with the 2kids an 2 cats; we got scared of Texas in the dead heat of summer. We’re flying out the night of July 10th, staying in a hotel one night and then making our way to our new apartment at the Archstone La Jolla Colony . We’ve got an apartment on the third floor that over looks the park and is 2 blocks from Dex’s new school, Doyle Elementary.

My last day working at MGH is July 1st and our relocation cubes get dropped of on July 3rd. Bella, our car, has already started making the trek to San Diego. We’re using Becca’s old Ford Focus for the next two weeks.

This Saturday, the 28th we’re having Dexter’s Birthday party. If you’re reading this and interested in coming, just let us know!
